Zebes Compete in 60th Annual Little 500

Riding close to 100 laps in the rain and mud, ZBT finished the first race since 2005. Lightening and thunder at lap 104 caused fans to run for cover, but after a short rain delay, the team returned and finished in 24th position - second best finish since 1964. Neither rain, nor thunder, nor lightening kept the team from finishing their appointed duties. Thanks to all the team members for a good race including our pit crew and alumni. The team will be back next year to compete again better than ever!

Who Let the Dogg Out!

ZBT and SAM jointly sponsored a concert featuring rapper Snoop Dogg for Little 500 weekend in the parking lot. Starting after Teter won the 23rd annual women's Little 500 race, the concert had more than 6100 people in attendance Friday night.

ZBT Bike Team Makes the Race!

Congratulations to the ZBT Little 500 bike team on a spectacular job qualifying for the first time since 2005. The guys proved they could do it and they did it well. The qualification time of 2:29.68 and 18th position is the 5th fastest time and 8th best position for ZBT since 1951. The guys started their major training in October and with the help of bike team alumni including Steve Bessonny ('89) and Doug Berger ('06) were able to kick it into gear, even staying in Bloomington during spring break to practice exchanges. Just think how well they will do next year after even more training and experience!
